



His name was Alberto Naselli. Alberto was born in a little village called Bergamo in Italy anno domino 1540. He was a happy and healthy boy, but he had an ever returning problem with keeping focus, and his mind often traveled to places beyond most people’s minds. The birth of Arlechino Finally the day arrived that Alberto had waited for his whole life. He was so excited, staring at the beautiful people with light in his eyes. But the light and brightness in his eyes was also a cover up for his sadness, caused by the fact that he did not himself have any ducats to buy a costume. Alberto decided to take action, and secretly he started to cut small pieces from the rich people’s costumes. He ended up with every kind of garment and colour, and his costume ended up being a beautiful, but trashy and confused mixture of colour and material. That very evening, our dear Alberto went to the largest and most lavish spectacle in the city theatre. Dressed as Arlechino, he was denied entrance at the gates, because he looked like a foolish bum. Overwhelmed by fury and anger, Alberto didn’t know how to react. Intuitively, he started to dance and shout, making fun of the theatre staff. A crowd gathered around him, cheering and throwing money and roses at his feet. Alberto couldn’t stop dancing, but went on and on. Alberto lived happely ever after in glory and happiness. After his death in the late 16th. century, Alberto went to a land beyond belief. After this long inspiration trip, Alberto was reborn on a cold November night. This was in the lovely city of Copenhagen in Denmark, anno domino 1988. A. Naselli has returned to entertain and dress the mob. He has resurrected to present beautiful, creative, luxurious, theatrical and humorous creations in a spectacular and extraordinary way. |
